Great teamwork makes incredible things happen – in the office, on the field, and now in #TeamUptoShutUp.

This is not your typical workday. It’s your chance to grab your team, shuffle the deck, and take on silent challenges that raise awareness and vital funds for people living with motor neurone disease.

Every challenge is a glimpse into what many people with MND face daily – losing their voice and finding new ways to connect.

How it works

Once you receive your Challenge Card Deck, decide how you will all choose your challenges! Will you pick for one another? Roulette the cards? Do you decide everyone has to do a certain amount of challenges?

On Thursday 13 November, it’s time to take on your nominated Shut Up challenges! Proudly know that you're supporting those who lose their voice from MND and helping raise awareness and understanding of the disease.

What kind of challenges?

Expect the unexpected. Your deck is packed with silent tasks that will have your team going through all the emotions - laughing, bonding, and building empathy:
  • Everyday moments – Such as ordering your coffee, expressing your gratitude
  • Workplace tests – Running a silent meeting, providing instruction
  • Fun challenges – Mime a song, nominate someone to do a challenge for you, choose length of time to stay silent for!
  • No two teams will experience the challenge the same way – but all will walk away with unforgettable stories, team bonding, and impact that matters.
