Doing It For David is fundraising for
David lost his voice in his battle with MND. In his memory I have created a team to participate in the Shut Up for MND challenge with the intention of raising funds to support the vital and amazing work of MND Victoria. I am inviting anyone who would like to participate to join me. Or maybe to sponsor me in this endeavour. All we have to do is be silent for 6 or 12 hours on September 22. We all help and give in so many different ways so this invitation comes with no expectation or pressure. Barbara McSkimming

Challenge completed. Even though I couldn’t speak I was able to text. David also did this for some time after he could no longer speak but then he lost the muscular strength to do even that. My challenge has ended but it never ends for a MND sufferer. Thankyou all for your support and donations. You have made a tangible difference!
