I'm participating in Shut up! For MND on Thursday 22nd September 2022. My Father, David, lost his voice, and eventually his life to MND in 2016. Nobody should have to experience this themselves or have to watch it happen to a loved one. Please sponsor me to help raise awareness of motor neurone disease (MND). And importantly to raise funds to find a cure.

Challenge completed. It was nice to get some quiet but as six hours drew near the lack of ability to effectively communicate got quite frustrating. And that’s nothing at all compared to having MND. Proud of my kids for joining me - they did their best although a bit of singing crept into the silence toward the end 😂
