Volunteer Services

MND Victoria has almost 100 volunteers across the state adding to the support we are able to provide.

MND Victoria volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and are committed to helping those with MND. Our volunteers are selected and prepared for their roles, and have access to regular support and ongoing education as part of their commitment to their volunteer role.

Services available to support people living with MND include:

Social Visiting & Calling - regular visits to maintain social connection
Hand & Foot Massage - gentle massage for relaxation
Life Stories - record and print stories of a person's life
iPad Buddies/Tech Support - supporting people to build skills and confidence using their new iPad or tablet
